Sept 24 2008-A couple of nice Bass

Once again I went out with my no good brother-in-law Andy to catch a few bass. We went out in his boat together for the last time this season. Todays lucky lure was a " Tube Jig ". We caught a total of 11 Smallmouth bass. Quite a few of them were pretty small like this one.
Then of course we caught a couple of nice ones like this one! And another nice one!
And a big one! This Bass was 18 1/2 inches long and weighed 3 lb 9 oz. All that blood was coming from a hook in the tongue and after a few seconds it stopped bleeding and the fish was live released. It was also a very beautiful day.

Sept 23 2008-Bluege Lagoon

After fishing with the girls all afternoon I headed over to Bluege Lagoon to fish for some Rainbow Trout with Udo. And the fish were biting! No sooner had we got our lines in the water and we had a double header. Here is Udo live releasing the second of the two Trout. Here's another beautiful Rainbow. Just right for the frypan.
And another one! Even Kylie wanted to check out what all the fun was about!

Another one for the frypan. We caught a total of 6 Trout. Two came home for dinner and the other 4 were released.
After all the fast and furious action we decided to relax and take Kylie for a walk through the haunted forest. We felt as though we were being watched. And we were! I wouldn't want to try and cut any branches from these trees.
