 And another one.

Aug 28 2013-Fish Are Biting

A warm, calm, and beautiful day and the fish are biting. First fish, a nice plump 2 1/4 lb Smallie!
Another nice 2 1/2 lb Smallie!
And another Bass. This fish topped the scales at 4 1/4 lb. Right after catching this big fellow, we lost one that was a little bigger.
Even the little guys were biting!
Last fish of the morning. Great day and a lot of fun!

Aug 21 2013-Koilos,Beast of Baxter Island

Koilos, The Beast of Baxter Island!
14 feet tall and weighs just under 2000 lb. Rather big wouldn't you say?
This metal sculpture sat in front of the Distillery District in Toronto since 2009.
It was purchased in 2013 by a cottage owner and moved to Baxter Island.
Sorry, no fish pictures. We got Skunked!

Aug 19 2013-Another Annual Fishing Trip

We just finished having Tegan out on her annual fishing trip, and now it's time to take Rick and his grandsons for their annual trip. Michael and Christopher sure have grown over the years!
Michael lands the first fish. A cute little Bass.
Michael showing some of the features of his new rod and reel.
Michael lands a small Pike.
Although the fishing was slow, we still had a great time. Hopefully, they will be back next year!

July 30 2013-Tegan's Annual Fishing Trip-Part 1

It's that time of the year again. Tegan's annual fishing trip with Joanne and myself. It's great to have Corey with us this year!
On our way for a picnic lunch and a swim, I started the day off with a cute little Bass. Do I have to touch it?
A deer watching us go by. Everybody wave at the Deer!
After lunch, it's time for a swim!
Loading up the boat. Now it's time for some reel fishing!

July 30 2013-Tegan's Annual Fishing Trip-Part 2

After a picnic lunch and a swim, it's time to get down to some serious fishing! This 26" Pike was caught by Joanne and reeled in by Tegan.
This nice looking Bass was again caught by Joanne and reeled in by Corey. Nice fish guys!
This 28" Pike was another combo catch. Caught by Joanne and reeled in by Tegan.
Corey has landed the biggest Perch of the day!
The last fish of the day was another combo catch. I caught this 31" Pike and Tegan helped with the landing. What a great day and a lot of fish!
