May 28 2014-The Day Of The Big One-Part 2

12:41-Caught a small 17" Pike and while reeling it in a much bigger Pike grabbed it and the fight began! After seeing it in the water I asked Joanne to put the net in the water and get ready. I figured we only had one shot at it before it let go. It swam into the net and was on the boat. Look carefully and you will see two fish in the net>
Two Pike caught on one hook!
This monster Pike measured 44" long.
I have not got any weigh scales, but I figure about 24 to 25 lbs. Wow, what a fish!
After a few pictures, we put it back into the water and watched it swim away. What a morning-8 Pike in less than 3 hrs.
We did finish cleaning the boat before heading home!
