Sept 11 2010-Wedding Day-3 Hours to Go

With just 3 hours to go before our wedding, the girls are heading out to the hair dresser to become even more beautiful than they already are! This should be easy; the girls are already looking great! Just a little shampoo, a hair dryer, a little stying, and WOW!

Sept 11 2010-Wedding Day Morning

This is the morning of our wedding day! First things first. Flowers and a card for my beautiful bride to be! Put the finishing touches on the wedding arch!

Sept 10 2010-The Evening Before The Wedding

No wedding would be complete without a rehearsal. Barry ( Best Man ) and I are showing the route everyone will be taking to the Arch where the wedding ceremony will take place. At the Arch, Diane ( Maid of Honour ) myself, Joanne, Barry, and Daryl ( who will be giving the Bride away ) get into position.

Sept 10 2010-The Day Before The Wedding

This is the day before our wedding. Tomorrow, Joanne and I are getting married! The table is set!
Lian took advantage of the lull in action to treat Joanne to a manicure and pedicure. As you can see in the background all the rain we have been getting all week has finally gone away! The table is set!

After Joanne had her hands and feet taken care of, Angie came over to the house to help begin the decorating. First, the balloons. The table is set!

Next, the streamers. Then the bells,flowers,wine glasses,etc,etc. The table is set!

The Wedding Arch is up! The table is set!

Sept 1 2010-Not My Day!

A beautiful morning in Muskoka to go fishing with Udo. First fish of the day was caught by Udo. Second fish of the day was caught by Udo.

Third fish of the day was caught by Udo.

Fourth fish of the day was caught by Udo. I guess it wasn't my day to catch fish!

I did however catch a couple of good pics of this Cormorant. Normally these birds are all black. I wonder if its mother was fooling around with a male Seagull!

Aug 25 2010-Small Bass

A day of fishing with Joanne. First fish of the morning is this cute little Fella! And another little Bass!

Joanne's turn to catch a little Bass. Although all the Bass were small, at least we were not skunked!

Look Ma! No hands! Joanne has her boating licence so she decided to navigate the boat to where? Who knows?

Aug 16 2010-Rick and His Grandsons

Today I'm taking Rick and his two grandsons, Michael and Christopher out fishing. We were out a couple of years ago and we had no luck. Hopefully, we'll get something today. Michael catches his first fish! It's just a little Perch, but it's a fish.

Chrisopher catches his first fish! This is his first Pike ever and the biggest fish he has ever caught.

Both the boys decided to keep this fish and take it home for Sandra (Grandma) to cook up for supper. We had a fun day and hopefully we can do it again.

P.S. Michael had such a great time he went out and bought his own rod and reel for the next time we go out. Another one seems to be hooked on fishing!

Aug 15 2010-Monster Largemouth Bass

We went down to the dock for a little evening fishing and I caught this monster Largemouth Bass. Actually, it wasn't a monster Bass, but it was the first Largemouth Bass I caught this year. However, I released this little cutie, and some day it will grow up and be a monster Largemouth Bass!!!!!

Aug 10 2010-Nice Scenery

Another nice day for fishing. Although the weather was great, the fishing was very slow. Joanne caught the only fish of the day, but at least it was a nice one!The fishing may have been slow, but at least the scenery was nice!

July 28 2010-Down Came The Rain

Today I'm fishing with Udo. We haven't had much chance to get out together this summer and although the weather was calling for rain, we headed out under cloudy skies. Wasn't too long before we caught this cute little Pike.

Then the skies opened up and down came the rain. So we went home!

July 27 2010-Back To Fishing

We'll get back to more Wedding Pics, but first back to fishing. Another beautiful day on Lake Muskoka and the fish are biting. At least the small fish are biting. This one is a little bigger.

Finally, a bigger one. We also hooked into several other bass ( 9 in total ) but they were very spunky and we were unable to get them into the boat for any photos.

We would like to announce that we took a couple of days off from fishing to get married. Yes, Joanne and I got married on Sept 11 2010. Here are a few pics of one of the best days of my life!

July 19 2010-Golfing or Fishing?

After a day of golfing with Daryl and Lian it's time to go fishing. Joanne started the day off with a Perch. If the Perch are biting there must be a bass or two swimming around. My turn to catch a little Perch.

Shortly after catching a couple of Perch, the big Bass move in to see what's going on. And what a Bass!

This Smallmouth Bass was 19" long and weighed around 4 lb.

Somehow the fish looks better when Joanne is holding it up. Golfing or Fishing? I think I should stick to fishing!
