Oct 12 2015-Fall Colours!

A little on the cool side, but still a great day to get out and enjoy the fall colours. Good thing the colours were great because the fishing was not so great.

Sept 22 2015-Crane Lake Revisited-Part 4

Last stop before heading home after a great day of fishing! Judy and Udo's cottage has certainly changed a bit since they sold it a couple of years ago.
Even the dock has changed quite a bit.
And a few trees are missing. Still, all in all everything looks good.
Back at the dock and a few fish pics before we leave.
Another pic of the same fish. Great day, Great fun.

Sept 22 2015-Crane Lake Revisited-Part 2

It didn't take too long to find the hot spot this morning!
We just drifted down a short stretch of shoreline and every time caught a fish or two.
Then we would start at the beginning and drift down again.
 More Bass and bigger ones.
Another big Bass!

Sept 22 2015- Crane Lake Revisited - Part 1

It's been a few years since Udo sold his cottage on Crane Lake. We decided to take the day off and try our luck at fishing and to take a look at the changes the new owners have made to the cottage. First, a picture of Crane Lake Marina!
And away we go! Did I mention that it was a beautiful day? Sunny, warm, and very little breeze.
Start the morning with a selfie.
Every fishing trip needs a picture of a Loon. Beautiful bird.
Now for some fishing fun. Udo has one one. Stay tuned for Part 2

Sept 11 2015- Happy 5th Anniversary Joanne

Celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Enjoying a very good lasagna.
Joanne is enjoying her favorite meal off the menu. A pepper steak done to perfection.
We enjoy going to Theo's Eatery in Orillia. Worth the trip. Food is very good, you don't leave hungry, and you don't go home broke. Happy Anniversary Honey!

Sept 9 2015-Dinosaur Valley

Last day with Daryl and Lian before they head back to Edmonton. It is a beautiful day and I think we should spend it down in the depths of Dinosaur Valley. ( Wilson's Falls )
Deeper and deeper into the valley we go!
This tree has totally grown over a decayed tree.
 OMG! A dinosaur!
Do not eat the Dinosaur food. It is very poisonous to humans and they will kill anyone who tries to steal it or eat it!

Sept 1 2015- Sept? Already!

It's hard to believe it's already a Sept day. And it is a beautiful day. Lets start off with a nice Bass.
And Udo catches a nice Bass.
Shortly after that I managed to get another one. Add that one to Udo's and it's almost a double header.
Wow, the fish just keep biting. Another one for Udo!
Yes, and another one one for Udo. We never left Summer Island and we caught 4 more Bass before packing it in. What a day!
