April 9 2011-We're Off To The Rockies

We're all packed up and heading to Jasper to see the mountains. You'll notice that Joanne is loaded up with the snacks. First view of the mountains! Wow!

We stopped at one of many look out points for a couple of pics.

April 8 2011-The Edmonton Mall

If you ever go to Edmonton, you must see the Edmonton Mall. I am not a mall person, but this is a must see. The place is huge. There is a lake in this place complete with a full size pirate ship. There is an ocean, complete with waves and a three storey water slide.

A skating rink.

A whole section of the mall is dedicated to bars and restaurants.

A quick bite to eat and back to the house for a good nights sleep.

April 6 2011-Edmonton,Here We Come!

We are on our way to Edmonton to visit Daryl and Lian for a week. Here's Joanne packing up the car while I watch! No trip to Toronto would be complete without a quick stop at Bass Pro Shop!

March 31 2011-Last Day Ice Fishing

Another beautiful day, so Joanne and I decided to get out ice fishing one more time before heading out to Edmonton to visit Daryl & Lian for a week. Sooner or later Joanne is going to hook into a big one. Unfortunately, not today!

But, I did!

Too small for dinner. We let this one go in hopes next year it will be big enough!

Think this tree has bugs? We were out on the ice 5 times and caught 17 Lake Trout. Time to get the Walkabout ready for a summer of fun!

March 15 2011-Ice Fishing With Joanne & Udo

Today it looked like it was going to be a beautiful day! And it was! We went to our favorite spot on Lake Joe. First things first. Get Udo to drill all the holes. Joanne was making sure he did it right! This is the first time that Joanne & Udo have been out together with me!

We didn't get any bites for about two hours, then it happened.

We caught and released 5 Lake trout in 56 minutes.

After catching this last fish, we packed up and headed home. Great day of fishing and we did not get cold!

March 13 2011-We're Grandparents Again!

Joanne and I are grandparents again! Jason and Mel had another baby boy today.

Meet Miles Neil Kinsley.

Born today at 5:18 am.

8Lb 7oz. Congrats to the two of you!!!!!!

March 1 2011-Ice Fishing on Lake Rosseau

Udo and I went out again to Lake Rosseau to try our luck at catching a few more Trout. I got one!

A beautifull day to spend a couple of hours on Lake Joe. Where's the fish? Look, we got one!

Jan 19 2011-New Car

Joanne and I just went out and purchased our first new car as a couple. A brand new 2011 Kia Soul.

Both the car and Joanne look great!

April 1 2011-Construction No-No

As most of you know, there is a major construction going on in our back yard. This what happens when you pile too much dirt too close to a property line. It looks like we will getting a new fence and a new shed.
