June 19 2011-Beautiful Evening!

One of the most beautiful evenings of the summer. Calm, and not too hot! Joanne started off catching the first fish. A Perch! Then a clam!

This monster clam was caught on a perch coloured Blue Fox.

There were no more bites, so back to the dock to watch the sun go down!

June 14 2011-Pike Fishing with Udo

First day out fishing with Udo. Today we are out looking for that monster Pike. Oops, first fish is an out of season little Smallmouth Bass. Oops, another Smallmouth Bass.

And another Bass.

All these Smallmouth Bass were live released!

Finally, a Pike! Not a monster, but at least we got one!

June 8 2011- Catching a Few Rays

It was a beautifull morning to go out and catch a few rays, and maybe a couple of fish.

There was even a family of Canada Geese out enjoying the weather!

However, as the day progressed, we noticed some very black clouds moving quickly towards us, so we headed into Allport Bay. There I caught this Pike and it was time to head into shore. We just made it back to the dock just as a severe storm came through causing massive damage to areas of Muskoka. Fortunately, all we got was very wet!

May 31 2011-Fishing Off The Dock

I was a very hot day,so we waited untill the evening and went down to the dock to do a little fishing off the the dock. We weren't there very long before I caught this little 23" Pike using a Mepps!

Shortly after that Joanne caught this 27 1/4" Pike using a dead Sucker.

Live released! Then we planted flowers.

There was no more action after that, so we watched the sun go down.

May 24 2011-Clam Fishing

 Great morning to go fishing with Joanne and catch that monster Pike. Instead of a fish, Joanne decided to catch a " CLAM "

The bait was bigger than the " CLAM "

Now here's a Pike to write home about!

This is one of the smallest Pike I have ever caught. Even at this size, it still has razor sharp teeth!
