May 23 2012-Joanne Does It Again!

We are going back out to Lake Muskoka to see if I can catch a fish this time. Nope! Joanne starts the morning off with her first Clam of the season.Joanne's first Perch of the season.

May 19 2012-First Pike Of The Season

A beautiful evening to go Pike fishing. First Pike of the season is caught by Joanne! A very nice 24" fish!

Back at the dock, the fishing machine is trying for her 3rd Pike!Allport Marina has seen a lot of great changes and improvements over the last couple of years. This year we see a new store and several new covered slips.

We watched the sun go down and then headed home before the bugs got too bad.

May 8 2012-We're Off To The Lake!

Once again it's that exciting time of the year. With Udo's help (again) we're ready to hook up!
A trip through town and we're off to the lake!We are in the water and everything is a go.

A Very Short Ice Fishing Season

Feb 20 2012-

Joanne and I went to Lake Joe today to try our luck. No bites, no fish!
March 7 2012-

Udo and I went back to Lake Rosseau. Had a couple of hits, but no fish!
March 20 2012-

This is a picture take from Pride of Muskoka. The ice is almost gone. This is the earliest the ice has gone out in recorded history. It was a very short ice fishing season!
April 3 2012-

It's time to think about getting the Walkabout ready for another season!
May 2 2012-

The Walkabout is all cleaned up and ready to go. See you soon!
