June 19 2012-Fishing With Rick

Fishing with Rick today. First Pike of the day, a very nice 29 1/2".
Rick also catches a nice size Pike. He took this one home for dinner.
Another Pike! I took this one home for dinner.
And a very good size Smallmouth Bass. It is still not in season, so this one was live released.
And Rick catches a nice Bass. Also live released. Rick caught a couple other small Bass, great day of fishing!

June 13 2012-Two More Nice Bass

We had a couple of hours to kill after work, so we went fishing. ( again ) Joanne catches a nice Smallmouth Bass. ( again )
This time out, even I caught a nice Bass.
The OPP Marine Force were out in full formation.
Foxglove in bloom in our garden.
This is a white Crab Spider. Also found in our garden. We don't anything about this spider, but it is quite different and very unique, never seen one before.

June 10 2012-Daryl & Friends

Joanne's son,Daryl is in Muskoka for the summer, and has requested a day of fishing with him and his friends. Here I am getting the boat ready for our fishing guests. Notice the flowers! Hope we don't lose them this year.

Dave catches a small Pike.
Joanne catches another Bass.
I managed to catch a Clam. That was all we caught. Fun morning!

June 8 2012-Lots Of Fish

Beautiful morning to be out on the lake. It did not take very long before landing this very nice 3 lb Smallmouth Bass. All Bass are still out of season, so we put this one back!Another cute little Smallmouth Bass.
Finally, a Pike! This one is joining us for dinner tonight.

Joanne catches her first Pike of the day. We caught several other smaller fish. It was a great day for fishing!

June 5 2012-My First Pike

We got a new Napoleon BBQ!
Now all I have to do is figure out how to assemble it.
Time to take a break from the BBQ assembly and go fishing. I caught my first Pike! A nice 26" fish.
Finish putting the BBQ together and now it's time to eat.
Cowboy Steaks, potatoes wrapped in foil, garlic buns and a ceasar salad! The BBQ works great!

May 29 2012-Just That Quick!

Fishing today with Casey on Lake of Bays in his new boat. At the dock at 8:27 am and ready to go fishing.
First Lake Trout at 8:38 am.
Second Lake Trout at 8:56 am.
Third Lake Trout at 10:02 am.
Back at the dock at 10:14 am and ready to head home. It was just that quick! Homemade fish and chips tonight!
