July 24 2012-Fishing With Udo

A beautiful, but windy day to go out fishing with Udo. First fish of the day, a small Bass.
Second fish, a little bit bigger Bass.
Third fish, another tiny Bass.
Fourth fish of the day, a nice size 30" Pike.
And the fifth fish of the day, a nice plump Smallmouth Bass. Great company and a great day of fishing.

July 18 2012-Bass for Dinner

We are hoping to catch a couple of Bass for dinner tonight. Here's a good start!
And another nice one!
Joanne's Perch isn't quite big enough for the deep fryer.
Another small bass. Too small. Live released!
Looks like home made fish and chips for dinner tonight. Yum!

July 10 2012-The Hunt Camp-Part 3

The time has finally arrived-time to go fishing! Joanne catches her first Largemouth Bass using a spinner bait.
I caught this nice Largemouth Bass using a tube jig.
Joanne gets another one!
I caught this one on a worm.
This cute little Sunfish was caught off the dock using a worm. We also caught a lot of little Bass. Had a great day, and now it's time to head home. Hope we get invited to go again.

July 10 2012-The Hunt Camp-Part 2

After a 15 minute ride down the lake, we arrive at the cabin. The cabin is on an island, so the only way to get there is by 4 wheel drive and boat.

July 10 2012-The Hunt Camp-Part 1

John and Karen invited us to their hunt camp for a day of fishing. We had to park at the top of the hill on a flat rock because the rest of the trip had to be in a four wheel truck.
Somebody had one hell of a party the week-end before. As you can see, a lot of the trees were scorched by one heck of a big bon fire.
They even torched a van parked there. We were a little nervous about leaving our car there.
After a crazy trip through the bush, we made it to the lake!
All loaded up and away we go!

July 8 2012-Nothing But Perch!

We went out for an evening of fishing with Daryl. He started off with a Perch!
And another tiny perch.

The whole evening was nothing but Perch! At least we caught something! Nice sunset, time to head home!

July 4 2012-Boston Pizza-Part 2

Dinner was great! Time to head back to our hot spot and catch some more fish!
Here's a nice size Bass.
And another Bass.
And a little Bass.
And Joanne gets a Pike. We had a fun day of fishing and a good dinner at Boston Pizza.

July 4 2012-Boston Pizza-Part 1

Today we are heading to Gravenhurst by boat to have dinner at Boston Pizza. First, a little fishing. A little Pike!
Then, a nice plump Bass!
And a clam! Time to go!
There is Boston Pizza a way down there.
We pretty much arrived at the same time as the Seqwun. Better hurry in case every one on the boat wants to eat at Boston Pizza. Let's eat!
