Aug 25 2014-Dinner

 Today we are fishing for our dinner tonight! This one is a keeper!

 A big Smallmouth Bass Joanne! Too big for dinner.  We let this one go.

Aug 24 2014-Sunset Grill

 Today we are going to Gravenhurst for breakfast at the Sunset Grill with Diane and Floyd. While waiting for our guests to arrive, Joanne tried her luck off the dock. 

 First stop on the way for breakfast was to see the Beast of Baxter Island, Koilos! Diane and Floyd have never seen him before. They were quite impressed.

 Our destination is in sight!

 What a great meal! Thank you Floyd for picking up the tab.

Back at the dock, I decided to see if there were any fish wanting to be caught. There was this cute little fellow who wanted to say hi! Great weather, and a great trip!

Aug 22 2014-Eye On The Sky!

 According to the weather network, severe thunder storm warning! We decided to go out and try our luck before it gets too bad. One little Bass.

Here comes the storm. Time to head back to the dock before we get caught.

Aug 19 2014-Fishing With Judy and Udo

 What a beautiful day to be out on the lake fishing.Today for the first time, Judy has joined us for a day of fun.

 Joanne starts the day off with a cute little Perch.

 Udo catches a nice Smallmouth Bass on a worm.

 Then Udo catches a nice Pike. Also caught on a worm.

And Udo catches another Bass. And he gets a kiss.
Great day, great company, and a lot of fun. Hope we can do it again!

Aug 6 2014-All Small Smallies

 The weather has been wet and windy the last couple of weeks and finally we got a nice day to out fishing. This looks like a good place to start.

 And it was! Joanne catches this small Smallie.

A day of fishing would not be complete without Joanne catching a Clam. It was a fun day catching all small Smallies!

July 22 2014-Tegan's Annual Fishing Trip

 Once again it's time for Tegan's annual fishing trip! Karin and Tegan waiting while we get the boat ready to go.

 After a little fishing ( no bites ) it's off to Eilene Gowan Island for a swim.

 After a swim it's picnic time. Kentucky Fried Chicken and Cake.

 Tegan helps catch the first Pike of the day.

This is Tegan's Pike. She hooked the fish by herself and landed it! Not quite ready to hold it up on her own yet. Way to go Tegan! We had a fun day. See you next year!

July 16 2014-Udo's Work day?

 Today is a work day for Udo. He is painting a cottage on an island and his boat is in for service. He needed a ride to work, I was off and offered to take him out. However, it was raining, and we all know you can't paint in the rain. So, lets fish untill the rain stops. A Perch caught on a perch lure. It rained all morning, so we decided to call it quits and head home.

 After dropping him off at the George Rd Dock, I headed back to the marina. On the way back I came across this Deer.

 Not too concerned about me getting close for another shot.

 Trolling back to the marina I caught a nice Pike.

This fish came home for dinner!

July 2 2014-Dinner

 Daryl and Lian are in Bracebridge for a weeks holidays and we decided to go fishing and catch us some dinner. Lian has the salad!

 Daryl's fish looks a little too small. Not enough for dinner.

 Joanne catches a clam. Still not enough for dinner.

 Daryl catches a nice Smallmouth Bass. Almost enough for dinner.

And finally I catch a nice Pickerel. That's dinner!

June 22 2014-Joanne's Night!

 Another evening of fishing and it was Joanne's night to shine! First, a nice Smallmouth Bass.

 Then a small Pike.

 Then a very nice Pike.

 And finally, a little Perch.

I caught nothing and it's time to go home!

June 17 2014-Cool Shades

 Finally got a couple of hours to go fishing with Udo. Caught a cute little Pike.

The flowers are starting to look good!

June 15 2014-We've Moved

 We've moved from here----

 ----to here. it was nice being close to shore, but the water level dropped and it was too shallow for our boat.

 We even made sure our name was moved as well!

 After all that moving around we still had time to do a little fishing. Joanne catches the first fish. 

One more Pike and it's time to head home.
