Today we took Riley out for his first boat ride. he seems quite comfortable playing in his big playpen.
Nice Pike!
Way to go Riley! First fish!
Not quite sure what to think of this creature with big teeth.
After catching his first fish he was exhausted and decided to take a nap. I think he had fun. We did!

July 29 2015-Welcome Riley!
After a day of fishing with Udo, I was informed that we are making a trip to Barrie to pick up a Puppy. This is his first trip around the back yard.
This is Riley!
Aren't I cute?
Riley's first time in the water.
I don't think he's fond of the water. I guess we'll find out.

July 28 2015-Hot Day Of Weather,Hot Day Of Fishing
The weather was hot and so was the fishing. Started the day off with a 17" Pickerel.
Then Udo caught a very nice Bass.
And another nice Bass. Notice the sweater around Udo's neck? He soaked it down to help cool off!
And once again, another nice Bass.
And yet another nice Bass. We also caught several other smaller Bass. Hot day, hot fishing!

July 22 2015-Fun With Mel,Jason,Campbell & Miles
Joanne and I went to the KOA camp ground in Gravenhurst to see Jason and Mel's new trailer. Played most of the afternoon with the boys and enjoyed a great BBQ dinner.
The next day we took everyone out for boat ride and a little fishing. Joanne and Campbell managed to wrestle this one into the boat.
This time Joanne and Miles battled this one to the boat.
After an exhausting morning of catching those monster fish we went to Nick's for lunch.
To finish our day off together, we went to "Into The Mystic" A magical playground and an amazing tree house built by Udo! What a great visit and a great time had by all!

A good way to start the day. A 19 1/4" Pickerel. We'll keep this one. Can almost taste it now.
A cute little Smallmouth Bass.
And another small Bass.
And a nice size Pike. That's three different species caught in one day.
And finally Joanne hooked into this beauty. A 20" Smallie. Biggest Bass so far this year. Weighed in at 4 1/4 lbs. Way to go Joanne!

July 8 2015-Fishing With Udo
First day out on the boat with Udo. I'll start the morning off with a nice Pike. Notice the back of this fish. It appears to have had a broken back at some time.
Next on board, a good sized Smallie.
Udo's first Bass of the year, and a nice one indeed.
Here's another decent Smallmouth Bass.
Wow! Udo's first Clam of the season. But are they in season?

June 17 2015-Allport Bay Fishing
At 12:00 PM we headed out for an afternoon of fishing. Joanne gets a nice Pike. This fish was previously caught by someone else. You can see the leader hanging out of it's mouth.
A few minutes later, Joanne catches another one. this one a little smaller than the first.
My turn. Another decent Pike.
And Joanne catches a very nice Smallmouth Bass. Out of season and live released.
And another nice Pike. We caught a total of 8 fish and never left Allport Bay. We took home 2 Pike for dinner. We were home in less than 4 hours.

June 2 2015-Fishing With Rick.
I'ts that time of the year again for my fishing adventure with Rick. Started the morning off with a nice sized Pike.
You may notice that Chris and Mike are not with us. Unfortunately, they are growing up now and finding time to fish with Grandpa Rick is scarce. Here is Rick with a very nice Smallmouth Bass. Live released.
The only thing I got was a picture of a Mink. Fun day.
